Of Dorchester, died suddenly while on a trip with friends on September 9, 2025.
Beloved son to Anna Ramusiewicz and Allan Ramusiewicz, of Dorchester.
Loving brother of Chris Ramusiewicz and his partner, Rebecca Bilodeau, of Dorchester.
He will be missed by his uncles, aunts, and cousins, in Dorchester and in Poland.
Adam R. was a lifelong Dorchester resident. He attended St. Margaret’s Grammar School, and lived on Harbor View St. since 1996. He attended the University of Massachusetts-Boston, where he obtained a B.S. in Accounting. He went on to work for prestigious firms like State Street, until eventually obtaining a position at Mass General-Brigham, where he was recently promoted to Projects Control Manager.
Adam R. was a lifelong fan of comic books and superheroes of all kinds. He exemplified their relentless goodness towards his friends and loved ones, and was noted for his selflessness towards all who needed him. He loved to dress up as Spider-Man and the Red Ranger from Power Rangers In Space to the delight of anybody passing by on Halloween, or for friends’ children. A devoted supporter of the arts, Adam would regularly commission his favorite comic artists to create unique works, and was sure to get the VIP pass to meet his favorite musicians when they were performing in town. Adam fostered community around various forms of media that were important to him, from TokuNation online to gathering fans of his favorite radio show.
Family and friends will honor and remember Adam’s life by gathering for visiting hours in the Murphy Funeral Home, 1020 Dorchester Avenue, DORCHESTER, on Monday, September 22, 2025 from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 655 Dorchester Ave., South Boston, on Tuesday morning, September 23rd, at 10:00 A.M.
Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester. In lieu of flowers, donations in Adam’s memory can be made to the New England Brain Tumor Walk at www.braintumor.org.
