Paliwoda, Andrzej, 66 of Braintree formerly of Dorchester, passed away surrounded by his loving family, after a long courageous battle against cancer.
He was born in Poland and was the son of the late Jan and Wanda (Koczkodan) Paliwoda.
A truly beloved husband and best friend of Natasha (Livovna) Panasjuk-Paliwoda. Loving father to Lilianna (Lili), Krzysztof (Kris) Paliwoda and Yan Panasjuk. Adoring grandfather of Marissa Winsser, Julianna, Andzelika, and Darius Paliwoda. He was a devoted Son, Brother, Unlcle (Wujek) and Godfather to many nieces and nephews.
Andy's smile and kind hearted sense of humor could brighten a room and your life. He spent a lifetime helping others. He often had his hands in multiple projects, and had a passion for caring for his bees.
Andrzej was employed by Verizon as a mechanic for over 30 years.
He proudly served in the US Army Airborne Division in the Vietnam War.

Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church 655 Dorchester Ave., South Boston, Wednesday morning, Aug 9th, at 10 am.
