Of Dorchester, died peacefully on August 8, 2025.

Wife of Eric A. Kellam.

Loving mother of Maryanne Davenport of Quincy, and the late Joanne M. Callis.

Daughter of the late James Davenport and Elizabeth (Griffin) Davenport.

Devoted sister of William Davenport and his late wife Regina of Plymouth, Robert and his late wife Mary Davenport of Weymouth, Donna Davenport of Quincy, Richard Davenport of Quincy, Thomas and his wife Mary Davenport of Stoughton, and the late James Davenport and Mary Davenport.

Cherished “Nana” of Anthony Davenport and Luangel Callis.

Barbara is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will honor and remember Barbara’s life by gathering for visiting hours in the Murphy Funeral Home, 1020 Dorchester Avenue, DORCHESTER, on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.

Interment will be private.

Barbara was a retired cashier and manager at Target at South Bay Mall in Dorchester for many years. She loved watching her soap operas, especially General Hospital. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
