Of South Boston, died October 2, 2022.

Beloved wife of the late Joseph T. Nee.

Loving mother of Joseph T. Nee Jr. and his wife Pam Nee of Virginia, Thomas J. and his wife Cathe Nee of Yarmouth, Stephen J. and his wife Nancy Nee of Marshfield, James M. and his wife Kristen Nee of New Hampshire, Kevin J. and his wife Kerri Nee of New Hampshire, and Patrick J. Nee and his companion Kim Jones of South Boston.

Sister of Margaret “Peggy” Fraser of Vermont, and the late Ruth Marrinzinni and William Havey.

Survived by 18 grandchildren and the late Joseph T. Nee, 15 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will honor and remember Barbara’s life by gathering for visiting hours in the Murphy Funeral Home, 1020 Dorchester Ave., DORCHESTER, on Thursday, October 6, 2022 from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.

Her Funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Margaret Church of St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish, 800 Columbia Road, Dorchester, on Friday morning, October 7^th, at 10:00 A.M.

Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.
