RICHARDS, Barbara A. (Gallagher). In Mulberry, FL, formerly of Dorchester and recently of Dennis, MA, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side February 17, 2017.
Beloved wife of 58 years to John E. Richards.
Loving mother of her seven children; John Richards of Chelsea, James Richards and his wife Noreen of Pembroke, Barbara Richards of Stoughton, Laura Donovan and her husband Paul of Hanover, Christine O'Donnell and her husband Robert of Braintree, Kevin Richards and his wife Kerri of Hanover, and Michael Richards and his wife Kelly of Weymouth.
Survived by 17 grandchildren and preceded in death by three grandchildren including Sean and Ryan McAteer. Also survived by 5 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Barbara was the daughter of the late Elliot and Helen Gallagher.
Sister of Claire Lenahan of Middleboro, Robert Gallagher of Walpole, and preceded in death by siblings Freddy, Helen, Dorothy, John, and Ricky.
A Funeral Mass to celebrate Barbara's life will be held in St. Gregory Church, Dorchester, on Saturday morning, March 11, at 11 A.M.
Relatives and friends invited.
