BIGELOW, Bernice "Claire" (Gillis). In Dorchester, died October 20, 2018.

Beloved wife of the late Charles "Bob" Bigelow.

Sister of Helena Burrows of Dorchester, and the late Marie Ford, Frances McDonald, and Leona Starr.

Sister-in-law of Evan Bigelow of Florida.

Survived by many nieces and nephews.

Family and friend will honor and remember Claire's life by gathering for visiting hours in the Murphy Funeral Home, 1020 Dorchester Ave., DORCHESTER, on Wednesday from 6-8 P.M.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Ambrose Church on Thursday morning, October 25, at 10 A.M.

Burial will follow in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne on Friday at 10:45 A.M.

Claire was a retired legal secretary for many years. She was an active member of the Clam Point Neighborhood Association and an avid cat lover.
