Bridget "Bridie" McDonough

McDONOUGH, Bridget "Bridie". Of South Boston, passed away July 2, 2022, on her 93rd birthday. Bridie was formerly of Carraroe, Co. Galway, Ireland.

Beloved daughter of the late John and Bridget (O'Donnell) McDonough.

Loving sister of Winifred Jordan of England, and the late Nora McDonough of South Boston, Anne, Michael, Mary O'Donnell, Padraic, and Sean McDonough, all of Carraroe, Co. Galway.

Special cousin of the late Mary Reaney.

Bridie is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and their families.

Special thanks to the staff of Marian Manor who provided such wonderful comfort and care for Bridie.

Relatives and friends will honor and remember Bridie's life by gathering for a visitation in St. Brigid's Church, 841 East Broadway, South Boston, on Wednesday morning, July 13, 2022 at 9:00 A.M. Followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 A.M. Face masks are strongly encouraged.

Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Bridie's memory may be made to St. Brigid Church, 841 East Broadway, South Boston, MA 02127.
