Loving mother of Celia A. Walsh and her companion J.R. Foley of Pembroke.

Sister of William "Chip" Houghton of Ohio, Dr. Jonathan Houghton of Georgia, and Dolly and her husband Robert Rosene of Maine and South Carolina.

Dear friend of Dr. M. Elyse Wheeler of Georgia.

Carolyn is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Carolyn was an avid writer and reader, and she proudly published 4 books.
