Of Braintree, formerly of Dorchester, died May 23, 2024.

Beloved son of Kathleen M. (Wood) Ricardo of Braintree and the late Anthony Ricardo.

Loving fiancé of Danielle Pare of Weymouth.

Nephew of Joseph Ricardo, Catherine Ricardo, John Ricardo, Frank Ricardo, Rose Syrek, Debra Galipeau, James O’Donnell, and the late Michael Ricardo, Ellen Keough, Diana Galipeau, Martin O’Donnell, and Robert Galipeau.

Chris is also survived by many cousins and dear friends.

Family and friends will honor and remember Chris’ life by gathering for visiting hours in the Murphy Funeral Home, 1020 Dorchester Ave., DORCHESTER, on Thursday, May 30, 2024, from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.

Burial will follow in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.

Chris was educated in the Boston School System. He was an avid New England sports fan and loved listening to Kurt Cobain and the rock band Nirvana. He loved camping in the White Mountains with family and friends, riding the waves at Hampton Beach in New Hampshire, and finishing the day at the arcades. He especially enjoyed family gatherings. 

His funny sense of humor will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
