Husband of Linda (McDonald) Szerszunowicz of Chelmsford.
Father of Michael Szerszunowicz of Los Angeles, CA, and Joseph and his wife Margaret Szerszunowicz of Chelmsford.
Brother of Tony Szerszunowicz of Stoughton, Eugieniusz Szerszunowicz, Jozef Szerszunowicz, and Stanislaw Szerszunowicz, all of Poland, and the late Kazimierz Szerszunowicz.
Uncle and Godfather of Christopher Szerszunowicz of Dorchester, the late Jeffrey Szerszunowicz, and many other nephews and nieces in Poland.
Family and friends will honor and remember Chester's life by gathering for visiting hours in the Murphy Funeral Home, 1020 Dorchester Ave., DORCHESTER, on Sunday, April 3, 2022 from 2:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 655 Dorchester Avenue, South Boston, on Monday morning, April 4th at 10 A.M.
Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.
Chester was well known as "Chester the Plumber" while serving the Dorchester area for many years. He was also a proud member of the Polish American Citizens Club. He is fondly remembered as the "life of the party". One of his favorite spots was the Dot Tavern, where he enjoyed spending time with his many friends.
