ANTONELLI, Dolores M. "Doris" (Coleman). Of Allston, formerly of Brighton, died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on June 21, 2022 at the age of 93 years.
Beloved wife of the late John J. Antonelli Sr.
Loving mother of Judy A. Antonelli of Allston, John J. Antonelli Jr. and his wife Maureen of Readville, Marion J. and her husband Bob Kearney of Allston, Anthony M. Antonelli Sr. and his wife Carol of Hyde Park, and Kim M. and her husband Kevin DeMarco of North Attleboro.
Sister of the late John K. and his wife Nancy Coleman.
Devoted "Nana" of Erica, Kevin, Lauren, Krista, Keri, Ryan, Nathan, Anthony, Michael, Kevin, Brittani, Kaleigh, and the late John J. "Johnny" Antonelli III.
Cherished "Big Nana" of 20 great-grandchildren.
Doris is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Lehman Reen & McNamara Funeral Home, 63 Chestnut Hill Ave., BRIGHTON, on Monday, June 27th at 9:00 A.M. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Anthony Church, 43 Holton Street, Allston, at 10:00 A.M. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury.
Visiting hours on Sunday from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. in the funeral home.
Doris was an avid bowler in her younger years. She was an active member of the American Legion Post #17 Ladies Auxiliary. In later years, she worked as a lunch monitor at the Alexander Hamilton Elementary School in Brighton. Doris especially enjoyed and cherished time spent at Salisbury Beach with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
