Edward A. "Ted" Jacobs

Of Dorchester, died peacefully on February 24, 2024. 

Beloved husband of the late Mary E. (Gorman-Conroy) Jacobs.

Devoted son of the late Edward A. and Mary V. (Sullivan) Jacobs.

Ted is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and many dear friends from the Knights of Columbus.

Family and friends will honor and remember Ted’s life by gathering for a Funeral Service in the Gilman Chapel at Cedar Grove Cemetery, 920 Adams Street, Dorchester, on Friday morning, March 1, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. 

Burial with Military Honors will follow with his late wife Mary.

Ted was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Army. He was a proud member of the Bishop Cheverus Assembly Order of the Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus for over 50 years. He was also a member of the St. Vincent DePaul Society for over 50 years and a longtime volunteer at Boston Medical Center.
