Olsen, Edward F. In Dorchester, March 24th. Beloved husband of the late Mildred E. (Kern). Devoted father of Edward J. and his wife Anne E. Olsen of North Easton, Paul S. and his wife Patricia M. Olsen of Medfield, Sgt. David F., Medford Police Department, and his wife Janet L. Olsen of Medford, and Nancy D. and her husband Michael T. Bailey of Scituate. Brother of the late William P. "Piney" and his wife Eleanor Olsen, John L. and his wife Anna F. Olson, and Mildred M. Olsen. Lovingly survived by 10 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours in the Murphy Funeral Home, 1020 Dorchester Avenue, DORCHESTER, Wednesday 4-8 P.M. Funeral Mass in St. Gregory Church, Thursday morning, March 29, at 10 A.M. Relatives and friends invited. Veteran WWII - United States Marine Corps, Battle of Bougainville, 1943.
