Eileen was born August 25th, 1926, in Dorchester. She grew up on Harborview Street. Eileen’s focus in life was her family and her love for Jesus. She was a strong mother to her seven children and instilled her values in her children. In addition to raising her children, she was devoted to helping others, especially the disabled. Her bowling program for the mentally challenged at the Knights of Columbus was wonderfully successful! Eileen impacted on the lives of countless individuals in need. She fed the homeless on Dudley Street for many years. Her soups were “legendary.” Eileen loved people, loved to laugh and had a wicked sense of humor. She lived her life with contagious enthusiasm and joy. She lit up a room when she entered. We loved her dearly and will forever miss her.
Family and friends will honor and remember Eileen’s life by gathering for visiting hours in the Murphy Funeral Home, 1020 Dorchester Ave., DORCHESTER, on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.
