Beloved wife of the late Bernard F. Scannell Sr.
Loving mother of Deborah M. and her husband Carl Crisman, Karen A. and her husband Edward J. Crowley Jr., all of Dorchester, Keith F. and his wife Susan Scannell of Holbrook, and the late Bernard F. Scannell Jr. and Elizabeth M. Farnham.
Sister of Elizabeth M. Lane of Dorchester, and predeceased by 6 other brothers and sisters.
Survived by 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service in the Murphy Funeral Home, 1020 Dorchester Ave., DORCHESTER, Wednesday morning, August 20, at 10 A.M.
Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8 P.M.
Relatives and friends invited.
Eleanor enjoyed crocheting, bowling, baking, and trips to Foxwoods.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Eleanor's memory may be made to Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 44 Binney St., Boston, MA 02115.
Interment in Gethsemane Cemetery, West Roxbury.
