Elizabeth C. "Betty" Donovan

DONOVAN, Elizabeth C. "Betty". Of Dorchester, died June 15, 2018.

Betty was a passionate reader who always had a stack of books beside her. She travelled extensively, enjoyed meeting new people, and she treasured her many friendships. Betty lived by her faith in God and her faith in people. Her most notable quote was "Love One Another".

She is the beloved daughter of the late Daniel J and Delia (Rochford) Donovan.

Loving sister of the late Rev. Daniel Donovan, C.SS.R., Edward F. Donovan, and Marie Castelnovo.

Sister-in-law of Margaret Donovan.

She is survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces, and great-grandnephews.

Family and friends will honor and remember Betty's life by gathering for visiting hours in the Murphy Funeral Home, 1020 Dorchester Ave., DORCHESTER, on Wednesday morning, June 20, at 10 A.M.

Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Gregory Church, 2223 Dorchester Avenue, Dorchester, at 12 noon.

Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Roslindale.
