Beloved daughter of the late Willam P. Melody and Hedwig E. "Jean" (Bronowicki) Melody.
Loving sister of William Brian and his wife Mary Melody of Florida, Judy M. Melody of Dorchester, Phillip S. and his wife Barbara Melody of Colorado, and the late Jean M. O'Connor.
Sister-in-law of Kevin O'Connor of Quincy.
Survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
Liz was a retired customer service manager at the New England Aquarium for over 30 years and a cashier at Star Market in Dorchester for several years.
Family and friends will honor and remember Liz's life by gathering for a visiting hour in St. Margaret Church of St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish, 800 Columbia Rd., Dorchester, on Monday morning, July 2nd, at 10 A.M. Followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 A.M.
