Elizabeth M. "Betty" (O'Connor) Lane

Of Dorchester, died May 15, 2024 at the age of 99 years.

Beloved wife of the late Harold E. Lane.

Loving mother of the late Edward J. Lane.

Betty is predeceased by 7 brothers and sisters, and survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.

Family and friends will honor and remember Betty’s life by gathering for visiting hours in the Murphy Funeral Home, 1020 Dorchester Ave., DORCHESTER, on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Margaret Church of St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish, on Wednesday morning, May 22, 2024 at 10:00 A.M.

Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.

Betty was a longtime beloved resident of the Catherine Clark Apartments in Dorchester. She was a former member of The Friendly Club and especially enjoyed playing Bingo.
