Ms. Ellen M. Bruso, of Dorchester, died Sunday, March 6, 2022 in Saint Elizabeth's Medical Center in Brighton. She was 70.
Ellen was born on May 16, 1951 in Boston a daughter of the late Norman P. and Marie J. (Hout) Bruso. A lifelong Savin Hill resident she attended St. William's Grammar School and was a graduate of Monsignor Ryan Memorial High School. While at St. Williams she loved belonging and participating in the Saint Williams Senior Band where she played the clarinet.
Ellen worked in the insurance industry all her life. She began at Sentry Insurance in its claims division and later Prudential Insurance and lastly as an insurance investigator with CCS in Newton.
She leaves her siblings, Linda M. Bruso of Dorchester, Norman P. Bruso Jr. (Ellen) of Pembroke and Florida and Alan J. Bruso (Marie) of Dorchester; nieces and nephews Michael, Matthew and Timothy Bruso of Pembroke and Kaitlyn Bruso of Dorchester and the late Mark Bruso.
Funeral services will be private.
