THOMAS, Erin D. Of Auburn, formerly of Dorchester and Holbrook, died while battling cancer on May 26, 2026.

Beloved fiancé of William J. Shiner of Auburn.

Loving mother of William J. Shiner Jr. and Hanna Shiner, both of Auburn.

Daughter of Ronald Thomas of Dorchester and the late Diane (Doherty) Thomas.

Sister of Jill Thomas of Stoughton, and Daniel and his wife Anna Thomas of Dorchester.

Aunt of Danielle Thomas.

Erin is also survived by many cousins and dear friends.

Family and friends will honor and remember Erin’s life by gathering for visiting hours in the Murphy Funeral Home, 1020 Dorchester Avenue, DORCHESTER, on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.

Her Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday morning, June 11, 2026, at 10:00 A.M.

Burial will follow in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.

Erin was a dedicated personal care assistant for may years. She will be lovingly remembered for taking care of people and her many animals. She was a member and safety officer of the Freedom Cruisers Riding Club, Chapter #129.
