DAHL, Ernest "Marty". Of Weymouth, formerly of Dorchester, died suddenly on July 6, 2021.

Loving father of Kevin Dahl of Weymouth and the late Brian Dahl.

Devoted "Papa" of Jacki and Max Caetano of Weymouth, and the late Christopher M. Dahl.

Great-grandfather of Kloee and Bubba Caetano.

Son of the late Freeman and Gladys (Weldon) Dahl.

Brother of Deanna McGahan and Susan Robertson, both of Florida, and the late Freeman Dahl and Linda McGillis.

Survived by many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will honor and remember Marty's life by gathering for a visiting hour in the Murphy Funeral Home, 1020 Dorchester Ave., DORCHESTER, on Wednesday morning, July 14th, from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M.

Burial will follow in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton, to rest peacefully forever with Birches.

He was a retired machinist for Gillette Company for many years. He was an avid Boston sports fan and especially enjoyed playing the lottery and following the stock market.
