Finbarr G. Whelan

WHELAN, Finbarr G. Of Quincy, formerly of Dorchester, died May 23, 2021.

Beloved son of the late James Whelan and Eileen (Ring) Whelan.

Loving brother of James Whelan of Dorchester, Patrick Whelan of Quincy, and Michael and his wife Roberta Whelan of Hanover.

Devoted uncle of Matthew and his wife Crystal Whelan, Keith Whelan, Courtney Whelan and her husband Robert MacLean, Jason and his wife Jessica Whelan, and Kari and her husband Julian Allatt.

Great-uncle of Nora, Lyndon, Fiona, Casey, and Nolan.

Family and friends will honor and remember Finbarr's life by gathering for visiting hours in the Murphy Funeral Home, 1020 Dorchester Ave., DORCHESTER, on Wednesday evening, May 26th, from 5-8 P.M.

Funeral services will be private.

Finbarr was a retired member of the Painters and Allied Trades Union District Council #35 and a longtime patron of the Dot Tavern in Dorchester.
