PARKES, Francis J. In South Boston, November 30th. Beloved husband of Bernice C. (Chapin). Loving father of Liz A. Reilly of Wayland, Diane F. Parkes of Newton, and Michael F. Parkes of South Boston. Brother of Mary Thompson of Holbrook, and the late Barbara Motley, Katherine E. Gundersen, and Clare C. Willard. Devoted grandfather of Jo Jo and Rebecca Reilly, Megan and Matthew Mahoney, and Jacquelyn Parkes. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours in the Murphy Funeral Home, 1020 Dorchester Ave., DORCHESTER, Sunday 4-8 P.M. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, South Boston, Monday morning, December 4, at 10 A.M. Relatives and friends invited. Veteran Korean War - U.S. Army. Late retired member of the Pipefitter's Local #537 and member of the Francis G. Kane American Legion Post #60.
