Beloved son of the late Frederick T. and Eileen W. (Sullivan) Leighton.
Loving brother of Maureen E. Leighton and Eileen T. Perry, both of Braintree, and the late Joseph F. Leighton.
Brother-in-law of Marion Leighton of Weymouth.
Nephew of James T. Sullivan of Weymouth.
Uncle of Marianne Moore of Halifax, Joseph Leighton of Cohasset, Michael Leighton of GA, Christine Leighton of Weymouth, Danielle Perry of Braintree, Robyn Perry of NY, Courtney Perry of VA, and Joshua Perry of Braintree.
Survived by 9 grandnieces and nephews, and many cousins.
Visiting hours in the Murphy Funeral Home, 1020 Dorchester Ave., DORCHESTER, Thursday morning, December 27, from 9-11 A.M.
Followed by an interment in Old North Cemetery, Weymouth.
Veteran Korean War - U.S. Navy.
Late retired yardmaster for the New York, New Haven, & Hartford Railroad and Amtrak.
