Genowefa (Bielicki) Kotowski

KOTOWSKI, Genowefa (Bielicki). Of Dorchester, formerly of Poland, died March 30, 2021.

Beloved wife of Jan Kotowski for over 69 years.

Loving mother of Slawomir and his wife Anna Kotowski of Braintree, and Wieslaw "Wes" and his wife Kathleen Kotowski of Dorchester.

Sister of Witold Bielicki of Poland, and the late Frank Bielicki, Jan Bielicki, and Jozefa Milosek.

Devoted "Babcia" of Thomas and his wife Sarah Kotowski, Chris Kotowski, Peter and his wife Julie Kotowski, Ashley and her husband Jeremy Cutler, Lisa and her husband Michael Fahy, Katie and her husband Owen McCosker, Amy Kotowski and her fiancé Diarmaid McGregor, and the late Danny Kotowski.

Cherished great-grandmother of Grace, Taylor, Sophie, Fiona, Corey, Ania, Pierce, Liam, Cayla, Adam, Liv, and Dylan.

Survived by several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will honor and remember Genowefa's life by gathering for a Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 655 Dorchester Ave., South Boston, on Tuesday morning, April 6, at 11 A.M. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.

Genowefa was a former housekeeper at Liberty Mutual Insurance Co. for over 20 years and a member of the Rosary Society at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church. She was a talented seamstress and especially enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and gardening. She loved to share her specially crafted items with her large family.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Genowefa's memory may be made to Our Lady of Czestochowa Church.
