Of Dorchester, died January 11, 2023.

Beloved husband of Romaine E. (Dasher) Chubbuck.

Loving father of Gary and his wife Cathy Chubbuck of Quincy, and Ronald Chubbuck of Dorchester.

Devoted “Papa” of Annie and Gerald Chubbuck.

Brother of the late Charles and his wife Teresa Chubbuck.

Family and friends will honor and remember Gerald’s life by gathering for a visiting hour in St. Mary Episcopal Church, 14 Cushing Avenue, Dorchester, on Saturday morning, January 21, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. Followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 A.M.

Burial with military honors will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Boston.

Gerald was a veteran, proudly serving in the U.S. Army. He was a lifelong member and former Warden at St. Mary Episcopal Church in Dorchester, where he founded and helped to run the St. Mary’s Food Pantry for many years.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Gerald’s memory may be made to St. Mary Episcopal Church, 14 Cushing Avenue, Dorchester, MA 02125.
