SENIER, Gerald E. "Gerry". Of Weymouth, formerly of Dorchester, died September 21, 2021.

Beloved husband of the late Helen "De De" O'Donnell.

Loving step-father of Ellen and her husband John Morrell of Quincy, Kathleen O'Donnell and her partner Charles Wilkins of Weymouth, Michael O'Donnell of Weymouth, Mary and her husband Paul Molineaux of Stoughton, and Judith O'Donnell of Kennebunk, ME.

Brother of Jack Senier of Reading, and the late William Senier, Francis Senier, Thomas Senier, Leo Senier, Richard Senier, Robert Senier, Arthur Senier, James Senier, and Joseph Senier.

Brother-in-law of Caroline Senier, Mary Senier, and Regina Senier.

Gerry is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will honor and remember Gerry's life by gathering for visiting hours in the Murphy Funeral Home, 1020 Dorchester Ave., DORCHESTER, on Tuesday morning, September 28th, at 10 A.M. Followed by a funeral service at 12 noon.

Burial with military honors will follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at 2:15 P.M.

Gerry was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Army as a combat medic. He then studied voice and music in Italy under Luigi Vena. While living in California, he sang professionally with numerous bands, and most notably with Nat King Cole. Over the years he especially enjoyed singing at many weddings, funerals, and other family events.
