Beloved wife of Brian P. O'Day of Weymouth and the late David Williams of Cohasset.
Loving mother of Jonathan Williams of Weymouth.
Stepmom of Liz and her husband Peter Sandblom of Scituate, Matthew and his wife Stacy O'Day of Verona, NJ, and Erin and her husband Nathan Michael of Manomet.
Devoted "Gigi" to Matthew Kenneth O'Day.
Sister of Anne Wilkie of Milton, Paul and his wife Donna Wilkie of West Falmouth, and John and his wife Janet Wilkie of Marshfield.
Lifelong friend of Rosemary Aronson of Braintree, Gail Johnson of Milton, and Ginny Whorskey of Marshfield.
Survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass in St. Mary Church, 95 Crescent St., West Quincy, Wednesday, September 27, at 12 noon.
Relatives and friends invited.
Interment private.
Gwen was a 1966 graduate of Quincy City Hospital Nursing School.
She was among the first to graduate from the nurse practitioner's program in the country.
For over 40 years Gwen worked at Carney Hospital and her beloved Little House Health Center in Dorchester.
