Of Quincy, formerly of Dorchester, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on July 31, 2023.
Beloved daughter of the late William Rimovitz and Helen (Kinski) Rimovitz.
Loving sister of Joseph and his wife Chris Rimovitz of Quincy, and the late Virginia Fleming and William Rimovitz.
Sister-in-law of Gwen Rimovitz of Brockton.
Cherished aunt of Debra Fleming Deery and her husband Hugh Deery of Quincy, Patty Nolan and Cheryl Devereaux, both of Bridgewater, Tina Fennell of Abington, and Lynn Caruso and Bill Rimovitz, both of Quincy.
Survived by many grandnieces and grandnephews.
Family and friends will honor and remember Helen’s life by gathering for visiting hours in the Murphy Funeral Home, 1020 Dorchester Ave., DORCHESTER, on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Margaret Church of St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish, on Wednesday morning, August 9th, at 11:00 A.M.
Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.
Helen was a graduate of the Jeremiah Burke High School, Class of 1961. She worked as a legal secretary for two law firms in downtown Boston, one of which was Goodwin Procter Boston for over 30 years. She was a proud member of Women of the Moose, Braintree Lodge. Helen will be especially remembered as a devout caregiver to many members of her family throughout her lifetime.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Helen’s memory may be made to South Cove Manor, 288 Washington St., Quincy, MA 02169, in recognition of their compassionate care.
