BROWNE, James J. In Dorchester, formerly of Firies, Co. Kerry, Ireland, February 24th. Beloved husband of Mary E. (Gill). Loving father of Thomas P. and his wife Sandra H. Browne of NH, Mary B. Browne, Anne M. and her husband John McCarthy, Brendan J. and his wife Jean Marie Browne, all of Dorchester, Daniel C. and his wife Linda G. Browne of Billerica, Noreen E. and her husband Martin Tremblay of Barre, MA, and Patrick J. and his wife Stacey A. Browne of Westford. Brother of Margaret Browne of Co. Kerry, and the late Sr. Mary Columbkille OP, Rev. Daniel Browne, and Jeremiah Browne. Survived by 17 grandchildren and the late Christopher Michael Tremblay. Visiting hours in the Murphy Funeral Home, 1020 Dorchester Ave., DORCHESTER, Sunday 2-4 & 7-9. Funeral Mass in St. Mark's Church, Monday morning, February 27, at 11:30 A.M. Relatives and friends invited. Veteran Korean War - U.S. Army. Late retired Stationary Engineer for the Town of Braintree, Electric Light Department for over 29 years and member of the DAV.
