Beloved husband of Franny Maneikis-Charis.
Loving father of Carolyn "Cal" and Tom Sullivan of West Roxbury, James and Laura Charis of Canton.
Devoted grampy of Jimmy, Emily, and Joey Charis, Maggie, Andrew, and Grace Sullivan.
Son of the late James and Marie (Laubenstein) Charis.
Brother of Marie "Chicky" Kane of Weymouth and Donald "Ducky" Charis.
Nephew of Mary and her daughter Maryellen Laubenstein of South Boston.
Survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Visiting hours in the Murphy Funeral Home, 1020 Dorchester Ave., DORCHESTER, Friday 4-7 P.M.
Funeral Mass in St. Bridgid Church, South Boston, Saturday morning, December 20, at 10 A.M.
Relatives and friends invited.
Veteran Vietnam War – U.S. Marine Corps.
Late member of the D.A.V. and founding member of the L Street Running Club.
Late retired employee of Lundermack Co. of Dedham for over 38 years.
Interment in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Boston.
