James J. Green

GREEN, James J. In Dorchester, died November 18, 2019.

Beloved son of the late Clifford W. Green Sr. and Mary E. (Donaher) Green.

Loving brother of the late Dorothy S. Timmins, Bernard T. Green, John Green, Clifford W. Green Jr., Catherine L. Dana, Helen Green, and Joan E. Stoddard.

Brother-in-law of Donald Stoddard of Weymouth.

Survived by many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will honor and remember Jim's life by gathering for visiting hours in the Murphy Funeral Home, 1020 Dorchester Ave., DORCHESTER, on Monday morning, November 25, at 9 A.M.

Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Peter Church at 11 A.M.

Burial will follow in New Calvary Cemetery, Boston.

Jim was a veteran of WWII, serving in the U.S. Navy.

He was a retired employee of Necco Confectionary Company for over 37 years and a member of the Bakers and Confectionary Workers Union Local # 348.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Jim's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
