James J. "Jim" Gaffney

Of Dorchester, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, December 15, 2022 after a long illness.

Beloved husband of the late Marybeth (Collins) Gaffney.

Loving son of the late Joseph and Katherine (Hilson) Gaffney of Dorchester. 

Dear brother of Kathleen and her husband Thomas Clancy of Braintree, John Peter and his wife Ann Gaffney of Dorchester, Theresa and her husband Brian Stafford of Milton and Joseph and his wife Christina Gaffney of Quincy.

Jim will also be dearly missed by his eleven nieces and nephews, cousins, and close friends.

Family and friends will honor and remember Jim’s life by gathering for a Funeral Mass in St Ann Church, 243 Neponset Avenue, Dorchester, on Friday morning, January 20, 2023 at 10:00 A.M.

A private interment will be held in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.
