CALLIS, Joanne M. Of Dorchester, died June 14, 2022.

Beloved mother of Luangel Callis of Dorchester.

Loving daughter of Barbara A. (Davenport) Callis-Kellam and her husband Eric Kellam of Dorchester, and the late Wilbur E. Callis.

Dear sister of Maryanne Davenport of Quincy.

Cherished aunt of Anthony Davenport and his girlfriend Carmina Wigfall of Belmont.

Joanne is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Family and friends will honor and remember Joanne's life by gathering for visiting hours in the Murphy Funeral Home, 1020 Dorchester Ave., DORCHESTER, on Monday evening, June 20, 2022 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.

Interment will be private.

Joanne was an employee of Project Hope for 28 years.

Joanne loved dancing, walking along the beach and at Castle Island, and enjoying her morning coffee while watching the sunrise. She will especially be remembered as being a very giving and good-hearted person.
