COFFEY, John J. In Quincy, formerly of Dorchester, December 15th. Beloved husband of 53 yrs. of Frances E. (Rhodey). Loving father of Dr. Katherine F. Coffey of Quincy, Diane C. and her husband Barry S. Kennedy of Taunton, Michael J. Coffey of CA, and Joseph A. and his wife Tamsen J. Coffey of North Attleboro. Brother of Doris M. Leach of Brockton, Edith E. McKay of NH, Charles G. Coffey of Mansfield, and the late Frances M. Gregory, Betty Blackmer, Robert E., William, and Herbert F. Coffey. Devoted grampy of Beth DiFranza, Brian S. Kennedy, and Lauren C. Coffey. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass in St. John the Baptist Church, Quincy, Friday morning, DEcember 22, at 9 A.M. Interment in Bourne National Cemetery. Relatives and friends invited. Veteran Korean War - U.S. Army. Late retired employee of the U.S. Postal Service - South Postal Annex for over 30 years and employee of the Healey Library at UMass Boston. Life member of the DAV Chapter 10 Post Office and member of the Amputee Veterans Assoc. of America Inc.
