Beloved husband of the late Mary C. (Hardy) Connolly.
Loving father of Michael A. Connolly and Laura A. Connolly, both of South Boston.
Survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Family and friends will honor and remember John's life by gathering for visiting hours in the Murphy Funeral Home, 1020 Dorchester Ave., DORCHESTER, Friday evening, December 29th, from 5-8 P.M.
Interment will be private.
John was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He especially enjoyed reading.
In lieu of flowers, donations in John's memory may be made to Voluntary Services at Boston Healthcare, Jamaica Plain Campus, 150 South Huntington Ave., Jamaica Plain, MA 02130.
