FOLAN, John M. "Jackie". In Braintree, formerly of Dorchester and Rusheenamanagh, Connemara, Co. Galway, Ireland, died February 3, 2021.
Jackie was a retired member of the Laborers Union Local #223.
Beloved husband of Joanne (Cotter) Folan.
Loving father of Sheila Folan of Whitman, John M. Folan Jr. and his wife Brigid Folan of Pembroke, and Annemarie and her husband Mike Griffin of Salem.
Proud Dado of Robert John Folan.
Son of the late John and Barbara (Ward) Folan.
Brother of Mary Hochsteadt of Quincy, Mairtin Folan of London, Nan and her husband Colm Keane, Peadar and his wife Marie Folan, Cathy and her husband Marcus Mulkerrin, all of Ireland, and the late Steve Folan, Colin Folan, Bridget Keane, Paraic Folan, and Barbara McDonagh.
Survived by many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Jackie was loved by all who knew him.
Family and friends will honor and remember Jackie's life by gathering for visiting hours in St. Margaret Church of St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish, 800 Columbia Road, Dorchester, on Monday, February 8th, from 4-8 P.M.

A private burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.
