ROSA, Jose M. In Dorchester, formerly of Brava, Cape Verde, died April 8, 2019, surrounded by his loving family.
Beloved husband of Leopoldina (DeBrugo) Rosa.
Loving father of Bobby Rosa, Lisa Abreu, and the late Jose Rosa Jr.
Brother of Jack, Arthur, Eddie, Alfredo, Sebastian, Jamie, Fatima, Felipe, Julia, Laura, and the late John. Devoted Grandpa of Pele, Sade, Janeya, Amir, and Adriel.
Survived by many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will honor and remember Jose's life by gathering for visiting hours in St. Patrick Church, 400 Dudley St., Roxbury, on Thursday, April 11, from 5-9 P.M.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday morning, April 12, at 11 A.M.
Burial will follow in New Calvary Cemetery, Roslindale.
Jose especially enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.
