Loving son of the late Francis and Helen (Murphy) Chaisson.
Brother of the late Helen Brennan, Francis X. Chaisson, Margaret J. Daley, James P. Chaisson, and Irene C. Eldridge.
Survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces, and great-grandnephews.

Funeral Service in the Gilman Chapel at Cedar Grove Cemetery, 940 Adams St., Dorchester, Tuesday morning, September 1, at 11 A.M.

Joe served as past President of the Savin Hill Civic Association and gave decades of civic service to the city and neighborhood he loved.
