Loving brother of Megan and her husband Dan Baillargeon of Virginia, Bridget Nee, Katherine Nee, both of Marshfield, Edward Nee of Quincy, Mary Nee of Marshfield, Michaela Nee of Quincy, Clare Nee and John Nee, both of Marshfield.
Grandson of Barbara (Havey) Nee of South Boston and the late Joseph T. Nee, Barbara (Graham) McDonough and John McDonough of Florida, and the late Edward White.
Longtime companion of Jamie Collins of Marshfield.
Survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Joseph was a dedicated foreman for Feeney Bros. Excavating Company for over 9 years.
Interment in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.
