Kathleen C. (O'Sullivan) Doyle

Of Dorchester, formerly of Glencuttane, Killorglin, Co. Kerry, Ireland, died peacefully at home in her sleep surrounded by her loving family on November 28, 2025.

Beloved wife of the late Daniel C. Doyle.

Loving mother of Eileen and her husband Paudie O’Connor of Ireland, Margaret Doyle and her partner Eugie McGillicuddy of Ireland, James Doyle of Dorchester, Kathleen and her husband John Marklis of Dorchester, Daniel Doyle of Dorchester, John Doyle and his partner Sheila Parsons of Hyde Park, and Timothy Doyle and his partner Jodi Campbell of Walpole.

Devoted “Nana” of Timothy John Doyle, Patrick O’Connor, Ronald Martin, Jennifer and her husband Lawrence O’Connor, Kerry Mahoney, Jack Marklis, Molly Doyle, Ryan Doyle, and the late Caitlin Doyle.

Great-grandmother of Ricky, Isabella, Aaron, Anabelle, Dean, Jacob, and Chloe.

Dear sister of Mary Lee and her late husband Patrick of Dorchester, Timothy O'Sullivan of Ireland, and the late Cornelius and his wife Margaret O'Sullivan.

Kathleen is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will honor and remember Kathleen’s life by gathering for visiting hours in the Murphy Funeral Home, 1020 Dorchester Ave., DORCHESTER, on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Margaret Church of St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish, 800 Columbia Rd., Dorchester, on Wednesday morning, December 10, 2025, at 10:00 A.M.

Kathleen emigrated to the United States in 1952 and settled in Boston. She then met her husband, Daniel, and married in 1954 and raised their family in Dorchester.
