Linda Marie (Owens) Pallotta

PALLOTTA, Linda Marie (Owens) . In Boston, formerly of Needham, July 6th.
Raised in Weston, MA by her parents Miriam and Robert Owens, along with siblings Michael, Nancy, Janet, Richard and Kevin.
An alumna of Newton Country Day School and Georgetown University, where she met her husband Jerry Pallotta, of Medford and Scituate.
She always put her family first, in particular her four children Sheila, Neil, Eric and Jill, and their spouses Matt, Eileen, Justin and Kevin.
It was her insistence that Jerry "read to the kids," which led to his three decade career as a children's author. Her dedication to children's book publishing has helped turn reluctant readers into lifelong learners.
Linda passes at age 60 after a six year battle with ovarian cancer proud of her friends, proud of her children, and proud of her grandchildren Maeve, Sloane and Shane.
A constant source of advice for friends and family alike, Linda's strength and guidance will be greatly missed. We love you Linda, Mom, Nana.
A visitation will be held in Saint Cecilia Church, 18 Belvidere Street, in Boston's Back Bay, on Tuesday, July 12th, from 4-8 P.M.
Followed by a Funeral Mass on Wednesday, July 13th, at 10 A.M.
Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Needham.
