SORENSEN, Lucy Ann. In Dorchester, died March 15, 2021.

Daughter of the late Christian and Maureen M. (O'Connor) Sorensen.

Beloved mother of Dennis C. Shipley of Dorchester, and his father Dennis A. Shipley of Brockton.

Cherished fiancé of John A. Droz of Dorchester.

Loving sister of Mary Sorensen of Florida, Christopher Sorensen of Charlestown, and Patricia Sorensen of Dorchester.

Lucy is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Family and friends will honor and remember Lucy's life by gathering for visiting hours in the Murphy Funeral Home, 1020 Dorchester Avenue, DORCHESTER, on Tuesday evening, March 23rd, from 4-8 P.M.

A private burial will be held in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Roslindale.

Lucy was a former employee of St. Margaret Hospital in Dorchester and St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Brighton, Labor and Delivery.
