Maria (Solinska) Gugala

Of Quincy, formerly of Dorchester and Poland, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on January 1, 2025.

Beloved daughter of the late Piotr Solinski and Katarzyna (Gordasz) Solinska. 

Loving mother of Malgorzata and Robert Gugala and his wife Theresa Gugala of Palm Coast, Florida. 

Devoted "Babcia" to Nicole McLaughlin, Nicholas McLaughlin, Dylan Gugala, Robert Freeman, and Marissa Gugala.

Cherished Prababcia to Lucas McLaughlin.

Babcia is also survived by Kevin and Michelle, her loving honorary grandchildren.

Maria was the longest living sibling in her family. She was preceded in death by her loving sisters Nastusia, Hanusia, Agnieszka and brother Kazik. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews including Dorota Gieza, Natalia Gieza, Agnieszka Katerji, Hassan Katerji, Safwan Katerji, Sedra Katerji, Dalia Katerji, and Kareem Katerji and many more here and in Poland. 

Family and friends will honor and remember Maria’s life by gathering for visiting hours in the Murphy Funeral Home, 1020 Dorchester Ave., DORCHESTER, on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 655 Dorchester Avenue, South Boston, on Thursday morning, January 9th at 10:00 A.M.

Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.
