Loving mother of Ellen M. Bevilacqua of New Hampshire, Leonard R. Simmons of Colorado, Laurence P. Simmons of Maryland, Catherine J. Stamnos-Simmons of Weymouth, and Michael J. and his wife Elaine Simmons of Dorchester.
Sister of Peter MacPherson of Quincy.
Devoted grandmother of Anne Campbell, Nicholas and Evan Simmons, Kendra Mauer, Jennifer Chubin, Alexandra and Daniel Stamnos, and Sean Simmons.
Survived by 5 great-grandchildren and Snug.
Visiting hours in the Murphy Funeral Home, 1020 Dorchester Ave., DORCHESTER, Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9.
Funeral Mass in St. Margaret Church of Blessed Mother Teresa Parish, Wednesday morning, January 18, at 10 A.M.

Late retired employee of the Boston Police Department for over 30 years.
