DOMURAT, Mark W. Of Milton, passed away peacefully at his home on January 25, 2019.
The beloved husband of Barbara J. (Doucette) Domurat with whom he shared 38 years of marriage.
Devoted father of Joseph M. Domurat and his fiancé Lauren Troup of Middleboro and Brian W. Domurat of Rockland.
Mark is the brother of Stanley P. Domurat Jr. and his wife Anne of Edgewater, FL, and the late Paul J. Domurat and his wife Catherine of Mashpee, and Marion R. Tuscher and her husband Richard of Millville.
Brother-in-law of Janet C. Capozzi and Phyllis L. Doucette, both of Milton, Laura V. and her late husband Paul M. Maloney of Canton, and the late Paul F. Doucette. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Born in Boston on February 1, 1954, he is the son of the late Stanley P. Domurat and Helen T. (Jasilewicz) Domurat. Raised in Hyde Park, Mark is a graduate of Hyde Park High School and The Culinary Institute of America, and is a retired 29 year employee of United Airlines in Boston.
Mark's many hobbies included boating and fishing and he is a former member of the Milton Yacht Club. You could always find Mark working on a project in his "man cave" garage. He enjoyed his home and yard and worked hard at both. Truly a man of many talents, all of which he was proud to pass on to his sons.
Being a man of great faith, this unwavering devotion carried him through his courageous battle with cancer. Mark will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Family and friends will honor and remember Mark's life by gathering for visiting hours in the Murphy Funeral Home, 1020 Dorchester Ave., DORCHESTER, on Wednesday from 4-8 P.M.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Agatha Church, 432 Adams St., Milton, on Thursday morning, January 31, at 10:30 A.M.
Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.
