Mary Flaherty

Of Westwood, formerly of Roslindale and Dorchester, died November 15, 2025.

Beloved mother of Daniel and his wife Denise Creavin of Foxboro, Darlene Creavin of Tennessee, and Brian Creavin of North Attleboro.

Former wife of Daniel Creavin of Wareham.

Daughter of the late Joseph Flaherty and Mary (King) Flaherty.

Sister of Barbara and her late husband Michael Lukeman of Abington, and the late Martin Flaherty and Joseph Flaherty.

Devoted “Nana” of Karynne Jameson, Daniel Creavin, Sean Creavin, and Siobhan O’Brian (Drake).

Great-grandmother of Lachlan Sean Drake.

Mary is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Mary was a proud graduate of Boston College School of Nursing. She worked as a Registered Nurse at Milton Hospital and the Veteran’s Administration Medical Center in Jamaica Plain for many years. Later in her career, she worked as a visiting nurse.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Margaret Church of St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish, 800 Columbia Road, Dorchester, followed by a burial in Mt. Benedict Cemetery in West Roxbury, in the spring of 2026, at a date and time to be announced.
