HOBIN, Mary J. (Kennedy) R.N. Of Goffstown, NH, and Dorchester, October 2nd. Beloved wife of 57 years of Ret. Robert P. Hobin B.F.D. Cherished mother of Joseph and his wife Yolanda Hobin and their children Neal, Michael, and Julie of Attleboro, Marguerite and her husband James Cummings of Norwood, Sister Joseph Maureen, Little Sister of the Poor, Christopher and his wife Donna Hobin and their children Laura, Michelle, and Joseph of Dorchester, Patricia and her husband Paul Brancone and their daughters Jennifer and Sarah of Goffstown, NH, James Hobin of Dorchester, Kathleen and her husband David Cushing and their daughters Megan, Kristen, Kerry, and Mary-Kate of Sandwich, Anne Marie and her husband Richard Stronach and sons Conor and Nicholas Sheehan of Tewksbury, Roberta Finlay and children Christopher and Elizabeth of Dorchester, Elizabeth and her husband Christopher Vlangas of Goffstown, NH, and Regina and her husband Brian Sullivan of Quincy. Dear sister of Ellen Gay of Medford, Patricia Gover of Sommerville, Joan Davis of Middleborough, Bernadette Doe of Stoneham, and the late Winifred O'Leary, Anne Maguire, Marguerite DiPietro, and Kathleen Kennedy. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours in the Murphy Funeral Home, 1020 Dorchester Ave., DORCHESTER, Friday 4-8 P.M. Funeral Mass in St. Margaret Church of Blessed Mother Teresa Parish, Saturday morning, October 6, at 10 A.M. Relatives and friends invited. Mary's family acknowledges with overwhelming gratitude the extraordinary care of her physician, Dr. Spiros Mistopoulos, Manchester, NH. Mary graduated from Boston City Hospital School of Nursing and served in the Naval Civilian Nurse Corps. In her 40 year nursing career, she worked as a special duty nurse at Boston City Hospital, a nursing supervisor at Long Island Hospital, and Director of Nursing at the Neponset Health Center. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor, 186 Highland Ave., Sommerville, MA 02143. Interment in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.
