Mary Catherine (Connolly) Pitts

PITTS, Mary Catherine. Aged 64, of Jamaica Plain passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on January 13, 2022.

Beloved wife of Paul J. Pitts of Jamaica Plain. Loving mother of Megan E. Pitts and partner Chris W. Amaral, Paul M. Pitts and fiancée Brenda Osta, Matthew R. Pitts, and Ralph the family dog.

Devoted daughter of Helen T. Connolly and the late Martin C. Connolly, Sr. of Dorchester.

Sister of Patricia A. Faria and her husband Joe of Cape Elizabeth, ME, Margaret E. McKeen and her husband William of Dorchester, Martin C. Connolly Jr. and his partner Trisha Hardiman of Dorchester, Teresa H. King and her husband James of Quincy, Aileen M. Connolly and her wife Sasha Tyler of Dorchester, and the late John J. Connolly.

Sister-in-law of Marilyn (LaMothe) Connolly of Quincy.

Mary dedicated her life to her family and was proud to know all that her children had become. She adored animals, especially her grand-pets Minnie, Lizzy, Toonces, Carmen, Harriet and the late Ellie.

A private Funeral Mass for family and close friends will be celebrated in St. Margaret Church of St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish on Tuesday morning, February 8, 2022 at 11:00 A.M.
Livestream attendance is encouraged for others due to Covid concerns.
