Mary S. "Dolly" (Hoar) Sprague

Of Brockton, formerly of Dorchester, died peacefully on January 19, 2026, with her loving family at her side.

Beloved wife of the late Kenneth P. Sprague.

Loving mother of Kenneth and his wife Patricia Sprague of Hanover, Michael Sprague of Florida, and the late Kevin Sprague.

Devoted “Grammy” of Derek Sprague, Jarred Sprague, Shea Sprague, Brendan Sprague, Rachel Sprague, Jake Sprague, Cassie Bucca, Jessica Hayes, and the late Michael Sprague.

Sister of the late George Hogan and John Hogan.

Dolly is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will honor and remember Dolly’s life by gathering for visiting hours in the Murphy Funeral Home, 1020 Dorchester Avenue, DORCHESTER, on Friday, January 23, 2026, from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Margaret Church of St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish, on Saturday morning, January 24, 2026, at 11:00 A.M.

A private interment will take place with her late husband at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at a later date.
